FAKE AND ADULTERATED DRINKS CONFISCATED BY IMO CPC

People are being warned about fake and adulterated drinks such as Glenfiddich 12-21 years, Blue Label, Red Label, Black Label, Moet, Gold Label, Hennessy, Remy Martin, Dumperion,8 PM, Amarula, Royal Challenge, MacDowell, 501 etc.

Hundreds of thousands of Naira worth of counterfeit brands has been confiscated by CPC, as displayed  at the front-table during the just concluded World Consumer Rights Day.

These drinks are either fake, adulterated or expired which makes it unsafe for human consumption. It poses serious health risk to us as well as defrauding consumers and innocent business men. "People should always do the needful and take a pragmatic approach when they are buying any product. "Be a responsible consumer."

Check the physical parameters of the products and always bear in mind that if something is really cheap, it's likely to be fake and could potentially be harmful.

It is vital that people report any suspected factory or warehouse where counterfeits are produced or stored, so that CPC can take action to prevent anyone being harmed or use his heard-earned money to pay for his/her death.

We thank H/E Gov. Hope Uzodimma for taking a bold step to reposition CPC imo state, any unbiased assessment of  Senator Hope Uzodimma's administration in imo State which anchors on "3R" Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery  will attest to the fact that the health and safety of Imo citizenry are topmost in his agenda.
