The Government’s approval for Individuals to build public roads seems to have been motivated by the patriotism of an Imo philanthropist who built a 2km road within the state capital, Owerri and handed over same to the State Government.
Yesterday, 22nd April, recorded a great leap in the reconstruction drive of the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, with the commissioning of a 2km dual carriage road built by a private citizen, Prince Alex Mbata.
Prince Alex Mbata, who is the CEO of ABM Global Services, commended the Governor for his commitment towards the massive road construction ongoing within the state and the least expectation of any progressive minded fellow is to support the administration for the greater good of the state.
His Excellency, the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, while commissioning the road, expressed gratitude to the philanthropist for his patriotism and support to the Shared Prosperity administration and Imo at large. The Governor, utilized the opportunity to call on other well meaning citizens of the S
tate to rise to the occasion by contributing in anyway possible to support the governments initiatives.
