The wild celebrations that attended the victory of Sir Frank Ibezim at the Supreme Court on Friday the 16th of April, 2021 by supporters of Lady LOVE Ineh who trooped in their numbers to her residence at Commissioner's quarters to congratulate her for a job well done was still on when word came that the CKC Alvan Chaplaincy Owerri was to honour her with an award as part of their Mothering Sunday programmes.
On Sunday the 18th of April, Love Ineh and some of her family members and supporters became guests at CKC Catholic parish, Shell Camp OWERRI to be among other distinguished guests and awardees that graced the occasion.
Among the awardees happen to be Her Excellency, Barrister Chioma Uzodimma, the First Lady who was represented in the occasion by Mrs Chikaodi Emenalom to receive on her behalf, the award of NNE IHE of the chaplaincy.
Lady Love Ineh was honoured with the award of DISTINGUISHED FRIEND OF CKC in recognition of her hardworking and dedication in service of the people.
In her brief remarks while accepting her award, Lady Love enjoined Imolites to support the government of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma and the 3R programmes for a better Imo State. She also praised the goal getter spirit of the present APC government in the State that led to Frank Ibezim winning the Senate Seat for Okigwe zone. She then thanked the CWO of the parish for organising the event.
Those that accompanied her to the event included some staff of the Ministry of Housing, some members of the Frank Ibezim Campaign Organisation, some APC women support groups and others. All guests retreated to the residence of Lady Love Ineh after the church service to continue the merry making.
