Tuesday night, at a function organised by the APC Patriots at Transcorps Hilton, Abuja and attended by the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani among others, Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo strongly affirmed his resolve to win the governorship of Anambra State if returned as the flagbearer of the party.
While addressing the audience, he anchored his brief speech, occasionally interrupted by rounds of applause, on his general acceptability by the youth constituency in Anambra State and religious institutions in the state because of the human development impacts he had made in the state through his humanitarian organization, the Johnbosco Onunkwo Foundation.
He remarked that as a party man committed to the growth of the party right from AC to ACN and then the APC, he has generated the massive support of the grassroots members of the party, stakeholders and Anambrarians in other political parties.
