The atmosphere of Mbaike and it's environs changed in favour of the Distd. Sen. Hope Uzodimma led 3R government yesterday as leaders and champions of the MBAIKE UNION caused a convergence of critical stakeholders of the communities, notable men and women of high intelligentsia,to witness the ongoing Imo State shared prosperity sensitization tour through the servant leader with undisputable character, Prince Charls Amadi (Charlvon).
Charlvon expressed gratitude to the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma for remembering the area in the sharing of offices and strategic positions in the state and admonished the large gathering to shun mischievous thinkers and people who has vehemently refused to foresee glorious day ahead through this union,he stressed on the importance of youth to a society as they are and will remain leaders of both now and tomorrow.
Ikeduru Council pragmatic Chairman, High Chief Tony Jude Iwuamadi assured the youth of his total and continued support in working with them, in confidence promised the leaders that Ikeduru will always propagate Mbaike Union as well as shared prosperity government in Ikeduru and beyond.
Adding his voice, the capacity Council Chairman of Mbaitoli Hon John Ekeh, told his people that now is the right time to join progressive Governor because His Excellency had already hit the ground running and that time is coming when there would not be space for those slacking, he also promised to join hands to build the union.
Honourable Commissioner for Special Projects, Hon. Kingsley Ononuju urged them to queue into the prosperity administration as the Governor holds Mbaike people so close to his heart, He said 4,000 Imo youths will soon receive empowerment from the state government with more developmental projects coming to the area. He further urged them to stand firm with the All Progressive Congress led government both at the federal,state,constituency, LGA down to wards,he expressed his willingness to continue to support Mbaike Union.
Others leaders Present, Very Rev Dr. CNN Nwanebu special adviser to the governor on Religious affairs, Hon. Abed Anyadike, Hon. Anyaehie Okameme, Hon. Chika Ohakwe, Hon. Ikechukwu Chibuikem emphaised that the Governor has been steadfast in the payment of salaries and pensions but corrupt officials allegedly, were feeding fat from the system connived with opposition to spread baseless rumours and lies against the shared prosperity administration. They vowed that the Governor will not be deterred by the corrupt people fighting back against his genuine efforts, they hereby impore Mbaike Youths as delegated by various communities to support the shared prosperity Government of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The Youths leaders present, supported by the mammoth crowd of Mbaike people who attended the sensitization in support of the Governor's administration by the leadership of Mbaike union and pledged their unfettered support.
