The commissioner for Creative Arts and culture today the 15th day of April 2021 celebrated the world Art day.
The occasion which was witnessed by more than 200 people including the S A to the governor on culture and tourism Hon. Chief Agugbue Odionyemma, Director Arts Mrs Adaeze, Director Tourism, Director Museum, Director Art Council and the DAF of the ministry. The Omenka studio being the hub of the center show cased different paint work, fabrics, and wood work.
The commissioner in her speech told her audience that this is the first edition of the Art remembrance day and assured everyone that came to grace the occasion that next year will be better. Adding his voice,
Hon.Agugbue Odionyemma S A culture and tourism congratulated the young artists for choosing to do the art work with joy. He also made the young artists that their efforts will not be in vain as our God given governor will come to their aid at the appropriate time.
