Government has observed with dismay the unlawful selling and buying of lands at the former Imo Mega City later called Imo Centenary City along Owerri/Port Harcourt Road, Owerri.
The Ministry of Lands, Survey and Physical Planning wishes to warn the general public to desist from such unlawful and illegal activities.
For clarity, all lands belong to Imo State Government. Any Land/Estate released by the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) belongs to the Imo State Government who will in turn release some parts to the original land owners of the various communities.
People who engage in patronizing various illegal building/Estates along the Owerri/Port Harcourt Road do so at their own risk.
