It takes a people suffering from collective amnesia to forget completely all that have had to be the political undertones of the mayhems recorded in IMO State in the last one year and two months. The tactless patterns have remained the same and the characters are doing nothing hideously. If they feel they are in any way surreptitious, let it be known that all discerning Imolites know pointblank who plays the drums for the naked public dancers. IMO has an enlightened polity. We saw a marriage of the strangest bed fellows in IMO State, all in a bit to torpedo the only IMO Hope to repossess IMO State.
Let that be the gist for another day. A full fledged investigation has been activated and shall lend obvious brighter illumination to the "hide and seek" gambits of the most disgruntled anti-3R opposition elements in IMO State.
They failed. They have failed. They will continue to fail. Having failed and having only failure as their prospects, it is right to rub it in on their desperate faces.
The government of IMO State has a determination to pursue its 3R agenda to a logical conclusion. The attempt to derail this determination may be on but the good news is that there is an unwavering focus, somewhat a divinely graced political will to RECONSTRUCT IMO, REHABILITATE IMO AND RECOVER IMO.
To underscore the rare determination, barely 24hrs after the wildly condemned and condemnable act of orchestrated insurrection, the undeterred, undaunted and focused Governor of IMO State led the Vice President, Prof Pst Yemi Osibanjo to IMO State where he commissioned the erstwhile perennially impassable Dick Tiger Rd and Dick Tiger Street solid road infrastructure re-engineered by Leo9 Asphalt & Construction Company. That was monumentally declaratory: "We are irrevocably committed to Serving IMO people".
In his speech, the Vice President was unambiguous. He was succinct and he said it all. We all heard him speak, not as a politician, not as a playmaker, but as a man of God - a Pastor and as the Vice President himself! It takes a Governor as H/E Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma to achieve what this 3R government has recorded in just one year!
From the Review-Reverse Black-attire hired imported protesters, to the EndSars hijack in IMO with collateral losses, to the earlier IPO/ESN masterminded Security scare in Orlu zone and now to this one : a jailbreak, multiple public infrastructure damages and serial soldiers' killings in cold blood ( including my dearly beloved cousin, Late Sgt Udoka), to the Ehime Mbano police attack, etc etc, the take home in all of these is that THE IMPLACABLE AGGRIEVED POLITICAL ELEMENTS OF THE NEW PDP/AA MARRIAGE have failed, are failures and will continue to fail. They are the Egyptians of the years of locust.
All the public assets brazenly and unconscionably stolen as contained in the gazetted White Paper must be recovered and returned back for public use; the Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University has been recovered and the criminal PPP that robbed IMO of its investments has been legally thrashed; the marked buildings on the new Government House Site must go down; the IBC Old premises must return back as a public estate; etc etc etc.
Every illicit primitive accumulation of wealth making anybody to publicly boast of being richer than IMO State must be recovered and put into public use.
Haba, even with these and even the Covid19 pandemic economic lockdown, an astonishing 46 new Roads infrastructure are either completed or in their advanced stages.
If these are achieved even as legally concluded as they are, tell me, what success has the bankrollers of the serial mayhems recorded other than becoming the PUBLIC ENEMIES THEY ARE?
