In literary studies when a writer keeps harping on a particular thing, his writings become monotonous. Be that as it may, the laudable stories of Governor Umahi's leadership genius in Ebonyi State which echoes and reverberates all over the the social media and all other media platforms; print and electronic even the non-conventional media, defy monotony.
Hence, before anybody ponders the need for a rebirth of a new Nigeria, let the person first appreciate the rebirth of a new Ebonyi State courtesy of Governor Umahi and use same as a standpoint to logically canvass for the rebirth of a new Nigeria which all of us desire and deserve.
It is usually said that when a nation is in dire need of messiahs like Sir Winston Churchill, the Lord will be merciful enough to provide one. There is no pretence about it; our nation is in dire need of a messiah, come 2023 from the land of the rising sun where a leader whose leadership antecedents tower above his other colleagues in all directions already stands tall like Mt. Ararat. That leader is His Excellency, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, fnse, fnate. The Ebonyi State of today is the product of his Midas touch. Governor Umahi has touched all developmental and transformational aspects of our dear State to the point that we have lost count of the geometric progression of his stellar performance. Evidences abound in all nooks and crannies of the State.
Governor Umahi's exceptional leadership determinism is so amazing that even when the opposition in the State introduces extraneous variables such as false allegations and diversionary tactics, he refuses to be distracted; Governor Umahi remains focused on his primary agenda of leaving Ebonyi State better than he met it. Such a leader holds the key that can open the gate ways to a new Nigeria and this is why he enjoys massive support and loyalty from the masses of Ebonyians whose confidence in him is unequivocal and indeed total.
As 2023 beckons and as elections and the change of presidential baton approach, the Igbo nation has a capacity driven candidate in Governor Umahi to hold forth for the coveted position. Governor Umahi had done everything both as Governor of Ebonyi State and as Chairman; Southeast Governors' Forum to so qualify for it.
May God hear our fervent prayers in this direction and grant us our heart desires along this path in Jesus name, Amen!
