The Managing Director of National Inland Waterways authority and a Frontline Gubernatorial Aspirant for November 6, 2021 in Anambra State, Chief Dr George Moghalu has attributed Governor Dave Umahi’s excellent performance in Ebonyi State to his love and passion for the people of the state.
Chief Dr. George Moghalu made this statement when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor at the state house yesterday in Abakaliki.
He said: " His Excellency, Engr. Dave Umahi has judiciously applied the scarce resources available to the state to develop the needed infrastructure for the good people of Ebonyi State.
“It is not so much money that makes performance, it is love for your people. When you are elected, if you love your people you will perform, the size of your allocation or the amount of money generated internally does not matter.
Today, the kind of the projects Governor Umahi is doing here will attract the world to the state. He was able to achieve all these quietly.
He further encourage the governor to continue with his transformation agenda and never be distracted. You are one of the best if not the best.
Earlier, Governor Dave Umahi who welcomed chief Dr. George Moghalu thanked him for the visit and praised his good works at National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), saying South East, Ndi Igbo and Nigerians at large are happy with your achievements at NIWA.
Highpoint of the visit was the flagging off of Ebonyi school sports centre at Ezza secondary school, inspection of going construction of Ebonyi state International airport, shopping mall , Margret Umahi International market and so many others.
