In just about a month, the APC primary election will be held. Whether the method is direct or indirect primary, one thing stands out - the party must take a stand, picking the most suitable candidate to fly the party's flag in the November 6 election.
Many say that the future of APC in Anambra State is dependent on the November election and if we lose this election it may turn out to be the death knell for the party in Anambra State. Mass defections from the party may ensue while those remaining would be severely demoralized. It is safe to say that the November 6 election is Anambra APC's D-DAY and if we do not win, then we are doomed.
The APC has no other choice but to go to this war with its best general. A general who understands how to navigate through skilled enemies and come out victorious. When the Greek nation of Sparta faced off with a well drilled Persian army, outnumbered, the Spartans had to go in search of Leonidas, a brave General. Leonidas motivated the dispirited Spartan soldiers and they fought hard, outmaneuvering the Persians. The APC in Anambra must search for its own Leonidas.
Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is gentle like a dove yet tactical. He is a worthy General to lead the APC to the electoral war come November 6. For one he knows how to rally his troops and understands what loyalty is and will never play with. Secondly, he is the only one within the APC fold capable of raising huge numbers of troops outside of the APC to be on the side of the party when the beagle blows.
We must seize the opportunity and rally round Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo, the man of grace, to lead us to victory come November 6.
