HON.COMR.CHINEDU OGAH OON.JP , MEMBER REPRESENTING IKWO / EZZA SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY PAYS GLORIOUS TRIBUTE AS THE BODY OF LATE HON.JAMES NWEKOYO IGWE (A.K.A JIMMY POKAS) WAS LAID TO REST AT HIS COUNTRY HOME, OBEGU ITEM AMAGU IKWO: By Stephen Maduabuchi Nkoka

 

The member representing the good people of Ikwo / Ezza South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon.Comr.Chinedu Ogah OON.JP ably represented by his Senior Legislative Aide On Health, Hon . Friday Atuma and his entourage were received by the family members and the good people of Obegu Item .

In his condolences message to the family members , Hon.Ogah expresses his sorrowful feelings over the unfortunate incident that befall not only to the family members but to  Item Amagu Village, calling it a monumental loss to Amagu Erimogwudu Kingdom, Ikwo Noyo Clan and Ebonyi State in general, he continued by saying that " the echoes of the voice of the voiceless has ceased from voicing out; what a world! the hands that rocks the credo in erimogwudu kingdom is no more, the great Vocalist in Customary court has became ever silent, Chaiii ! "

This federal law maker with difference went on and on to enumerate the good qualities of Late Hon. Jimmy Pokas in the development of his village Obegu Item, Amagu Community, Ikwo in particular and Ebonyi State in general, having served in various capacity which were not limited to his fatherly mannerisms in handling marital cases at the Customary Court Agubia , his immeasurable contributions in documenting the activities of Eze in council and erimogwudu kingdom and many more too numerous to mention here however, hon. Ogah encourage the family members to take solace in the Lord for he alone knows why it happened this way at a time his worths of knowledge were needed most in rebuilding our dear state.

Hon. Ogah in his usual way gave out undisclosed amount of money to the family members as a financial assistance.

Indeed Late Hon. James Nwekoyo Igwe has lived a Christ like lifestyle, fought a good fight and has left a perfect legacies for the living.
