Inspecting the ongoing road construction, the Works Commissioner expressed optimism that with the level of the work pace being witnessed, that the road will be delivered in a record time and commended the contractor on quality construction.
Ralph Nwosu used the opportunity to appeal to road users plying the road to continue to maintain alternative routes adding that the State Government through her reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery agenda will continue to change the narratives of governance as it concerns the well-being of Imo people.
The Commissioner also briefly stopped at Everyday Supermarket junction along World bank/Umuguma road to ascertain the progress of work ongoing and called on the contractor for quality sustenance.
