UMAHI CLARIFIES THAT "EBUBEAGU" IS NOT AFTER EASTERN SECURITY NETWORK (ESN) BUT TO SAFEGUARD THE LIVES AND PROPERTIES OF THE PEOPLE AGAINST CRIMINALS

During the presentation and handing over of "60" Hilux and Sienna cars (operational vehicles) to security agencies in the state, that took place at the  New Governor's Lodge-- Government House; Ochudo Centenary City, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital: The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE, applauded his Deputy Barr Kelechi Igwe and the Commissioner of Police Ebonyi state Command for restoring peace at Effuim. Umahi also thanked the "SSG" for the purchase of the vehicles and announced that the South-East Security outfit known as _“EBUBEAGU”_ is not after the Eastern Security Network (ESN) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) but created to safeguard Ebonyians and Ndigbo from criminality operations and made known that the "Security outfit" would be comprehended for its encompassing uniform after launching it across the various States of the South East.

However, Governor Umahi stated that there's no and have never been any IPOB (ESN) member, Criminals or Unknown Gunmen after him, and declared the news a false speculated propaganda by people in the state.

He directed Security Agencies to brace and buck up to obviate any reoccurrence attack, like the one that was carried out recently at the Airport Project site by some criminals.

The Governor discharged his commitment to the people of Ebonyi State and has assured that the attack at the Airport wasn't the activity of any IPOB or ESN members, but purely a crime of criminality, and have reinforced Security with the directives-- _"If one nears the Airport with weapon, the person will not leave the Airport with the weapon: Enough is enough"..._ A green solid word of commitment that would be carried out effectively.

On the commencement of the ring road that would be kicking off this month, Governor Umahi called on the Community Leaders, noting his plans of awarding the first phase of the ring road project which is about 70km concrete road, and advised them to form vigilantes (security) that would safeguard the project and the workers against threats of any kind.

He further said that our nation is much in a cross road, as the youths are angry over the ways politician handle the economic resources of the nation. He However, during this wonderful gathering, faulted the announcement of 2023 election time table by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stating it was a shock for him, when knowledgeably, The Nations is quite seriously challenged and called on Nation Leaders (politicians) at all level of _"roams and cranny"_ with 2023 aspirations/ambitions to have a rethink; Take responsibility and focus on solving the current problem _(BANE)_ the nations' is currently facing and restore, hope that will secure the future of our children, sound peace and stability --A greater future for Nigerians. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬  _"Cos the resources of this country can build this country"...

He decried the situation where people attributed the travails of the nations to politicking, and called on all and sundry to rally round to restore normalcy.

Further still on the this positive platform; The Governor announced and showed His readiness, eagerness to collaborate with (CAN) and relevant authorities in other to provide, solution to reasons why the Youths are agitated, so it can be addressed.

He also emphasized that what we are going through is beyond political parties and stated that if we had involved the youth, getting them along in the system, we wouldn't be where we are today.--

Governor Umahi is prepared to dialogue with the "Ebonyi Youths" for empowerment, so to eradicate further destructions of properties and loss of lives in various areas of the state.

We must know that we are one. We must build Unity and Love.🤝--YES! We can't continue to kill ourselves. We can't continue to destroy our Infrastructures.*
