Abuja- All Progressives Congress Patriots, Anambra State Chapter, today paid a Working visit to the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, at the Presidential Villa. The Patriots were at the office to solicit the support of the SGF towards Anambra State APC governorship Primary election scheduled to take place at the end of June.
The Group, through their Leader, His Excellency, Chief Dozie Ikedife (Jnr) maintained that every member of Anambra State chapter of APC want a free, Fair and credible Primary election,
where the most popular aspirant will emerge as the winner to be the candidate in the up coming governorship election in the state.
The group maintained that the Party should provide a level playing field for all the Aspirants. By so doing, the party will stand a great chance to win the governorship election and that its the only way to get things right in Anambra State.
In His remark, the SGF thanked the Patriots for their efforts so far in making sure that the right things are done in Anambra state and promised his support towards achieving a free, fair and creeible Primary election in Anambra State where the most popular candidate will be nominated by Party Members in Anambra State. There will be no imposition of Candidate in Anambra State.
In the same vein, the Group visited the Former Governor of Nasarrawa State, His Excellency Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who is interested in contesting for the National Chairmanship of APC in the forthcoming National Convention of the Party.
The Patriots thanked The Former governor for making himself available to lead the Party at this critical time and urged him to be a servant leader in the Party and not an Emperor.
Al-Makura promised to always conduct free, fair and transparent primary elections at all levels in the party if he emerged as National Chairman. He also expressed his satisfaction and thanked the APC Patriots for their persistence and hard work.
