The leadership of of Ow. Municipal visited the Governor yesterday, in line with the government arrangement, scheduled for local governments in Imo State.
The team ably led by Hon. Sir Macdonald Ebere (Phd) was colossally appreciated by the governor, who expressed satisfaction with the coruscating display of elegance, that found eloquent expression in the superlative historic souvenir/gifts presented to him by the Macdonald Ebere led peoples of Owerri Municipal.
The confabulation talk with the governor, availed the good people of Owerri Municipal both Indigenes and residents, the opportunity to ventilate their religious support for the governor and equally present to the government, some of the teething problems of Owerri Municipal and humbly prayed the listening governor to graciously give attention to the explicated grey areas.
The leader of the delegation Hon. Sir Macdonald Ebere upon introduction of the leaders of Owerri Municipal present, showered immense panegyrics on the governor for his show of love for nde Owerre and assured him of undiluted support, as promised by his people in reciprocation of the legion of infrastructural development done by the governor for nde Owerri.
The governor in his address to the people of Owerri Municipal, thanked Hon Macdon
ald Ebere's led team for the solidarity visit and advised them to endeavour to close ranks by way of restoring peace, unity and love amongst her leadership class and postulated too, that if the reverse of his advice remains the case, the proclivity of it's lacerating effect erosioning his desire for more development in Owerri Municipal, will be concretized and therefore admonished them to make hay, while the sun is shining.
In all, the governor celebrated the peoples of Owerri Municipal for the symbolic gift presented to him, coupled with the royal blessings received from her Royal fathers and Onye ishi ala Owerri and finally wished the Macdonald led team well.
