CPC STAFF VISIT WORLD BANK ORPHANAGE

 


A delegation of Imo State Consumer Protection Council (CPC) led by Mr. Obinna Samuel Nwosu, paid a visit to Save The Child Motherless and Abandoned Babies Home, Area N, Zone 3 Word Bank Housing Estate, New Owerri, Imo State. The visit is one of the social responsibilities and coporal works of mercy by CPC welfare association.

The leader of the delegation, Mr Samuel Nwosu who Spoke on behalf of the kind hearted and philanthropic Director General, said, the visit is an extension of love and charity to the less privileged in our society. "It is an act of extending love and friendship to the less privileged. 

He noted that the children are part of our society, and we have a responsibility to give them that sense of belonging, because if we don't, posterity will hold us accountable. 


Mr. Nwosu further appreciate the minder and the supervisors for the care and education of the orphans, assuring the children that the Director General CPC imo State, consider them as SPECIAL CONSUMERS and their welfare, a priority. "Let me assure you, that none of you will suffer. You are not orphans, God is your father" he said. 


The supervisor of the centre responded by thanking the DG imo State CPC and members of the delegation for coming to visit the children. She prayed for God's Protection and guidance over the life of the DG and staff of imo state CPC.


 On behalf of the DG and the staff of Imo State CPC, the delegation made donation of bags of food stuff, toiletries, cash and other provisions for the upkeep of the children in the centre.
