Our political party "All Progressive Congress (APC)" have come so far, but we still have far to go. We have much to repair, much to restore, much to heal, much to build and much to gain.
The party is ready for a take off, in my view in Ebonyi State. We are working again, dreaming again, discovering again, and leading other political parties here in the state to ensure that 2023 election will be a huge success.
A cry for survival comes from every member of the party in the state due to the rise in political extremism and supremacy which we must confront and defeat. To overcome these challenges, to restore the soul of our dear party and secure the future of APC in Ebonyi State, it requires more than words. This is the reason why we need Dr. Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah to take up the mantle of leadership in the state to restore hope to every member of the party in the state. With Dr. Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah, we should start feeling that there is hope. The job requires honesty, enthusiasm, tenacity and refusal to back down in the face of challenges. Dr. Haroun Ajah has these qualities and his records to date confirms this.
Many chairmen have come and gone under our great party APC with good plans and made some possibilities. We need someone who will build on their legacies. Someone who is trustworthy, reliable and have the interest of the party at heart. Someone who will make the party a force to reckon with in the state. Today, I make boast to tell you that with Dr. Haroun Ajah the party will be opened to new opportunities of rebuilding, revitalizing our democracy and winning the future for every member of APC in the state both small and great, rich or poor. With Dr. Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah, the state will be on the move again, turning perils to possibilities, crisis to opportunities, setbacks into strength. We can only rise when we chose hope over fear, truth over lies and light over darkness.
Records have shown that Dr. Ogbonnia Haroun Ajah can make real changes the party needs in the state. Every sons and daughters of Ebonyi State know how capable he is, how strong he is, and how resilient he is. EWith him, I have never been more optimistic about the future of APC in Ebonyi State than I am today.
