In a show of Loyalty as an Iroko that can't be ignored , the tripartite APC chairmen of Owerri Fed. Constituency Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim (Owerri Municipal) , Hon. Humphrey Umunnakwe (Owerri west) and Hon. Kelechi Azike(Owerri North) today were honored to a breakfast meet at the residence of the Apex Leader of APC in Owerri Municipal and GM OF IMO ENTRACO , Hon. Sir. MacDonald Ebere.
Leader of the Delegation and Chairman of Owerri Municipal APC , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim , explained that the visit of the team to home of the Apex Leader exposes the recognition and unequivocal truth that Hon. MacDonald Ebere remains a colossus in Owerri zonal politics . He explained that the main reason of the sensitization tour is to meet Leaders of APC in the Zone and solicit their support even as Congresses will soon start .
Hon. Onyekachi went further to explain that the close relationship Hon. MacDonald enjoys with the Governor , is the reason many sons and daughters of the zone got appointments in the shared prosperity administration of Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma . This he said has in fact endeared the Leader into the hearts and minds of Owerri people as he believes in the principle of carrying everyone along . Hon. Onyekachi added that Hon. MacDonald's support to the team is not in doubt as helping others to succeed is in his DNA. The Chairmen pledged their unalloyed loyalty and support to his Leadership as that's the much they can give to a man who have done more than enough for Owerri zone especially in helping to bring to fruition infrastructural development of the state capital .
Receiving the executives , The Apex Leader of Owerri Municipal politics Hon. MacDonald Ebere expressed gratitude over the level of respect shown him by the three party henchmen that visited him . He said such show of solidarity exposes the fact that his passionate drive to see change in Owerri federal constituency is appreciated.
Hon. MacDonald in his usual show of humility expressed that greater appreciation should go to the state Governor Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma who heard the outcry of the average owerri man who have been neglected over the years . He went further to say that right now majority of the roads in Owerri is experiencing internationally recognized touch unlike the shabby death traps that was laid by past administrations .
Hon. MacDonald posited that his biggest pride is the reconstruction of the Eke ukwu market by the present administration which was his first request on the list of requests he made to the Governor at the prologue of his tenure , and this request he said has brought back the lost pride of the average Owerre Nchi Ise man.
The Apex Leader expressed his readiness to work with the Chairmen as long as they remain dedicated to the views , norms and ideologies of the present Shared Prosperity administration and the APC. He said as a workaholic grassroot mobilizer , he expects nothing from the chairmen but the assurance that they will work hard to make APC the only household name and party in the zone .
