The National Chairman, National Committee of APC Support Groups for Al-Makura (NACASA), Chief Honourable Chukwunonso David Ezedimma today called on Nigerians to return to the values of peaceful co-existence and brotherly love as Nigerian Muslims today join their counterparts worldwide to celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
In a goodwill message made available by the NACASA National Publicity Secretary
He said that the nation needs brotherly love and harmonious co-existence among her citizens. Nigeria has the capacity to face and overcome the numerous challenges currently threatening her peace if all parties can come together to work hand in hand.
Honourable Ezedimma, who noted that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir resonates around the virtue of sacrifice therefore he encouraged Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation pointing out that it is only in the spirit of brotherly love and dedication to national service that Nigerians could build the desired nation.
"As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us renew our faith in our nation and implore the Almighty Allah to restore to us those values that place high premium on human life, love of neighbour and sharing even as we ventilate our faith in the unity of our dear country and the possibility of her taking her proper place in the comity of nations"
Wishing all Muslim brothers and sisters a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration and urging our members to take our mandate seriously and to use today to pray for the successful actualization of it
