Imo State Government monitoring team headed by the Deputy Governor, Professor Placid Njoku, today began the inspection of RAMP roads to evaluate the level of works done by the contractors.
The tour which was kick started with project monitoring in Ngor/Okpala and Owerri North LGAs, saw the team expressing dissatisfaction with the level of work done by the contractor Engr. Ogulade Kehinde.
The Deputy Governor, Professor Placid Njoku, hinted that His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma is anxious in bringing dividends of democracy to rural dwellers, as he called on the contractor to speed up work.
It is worthy of note that 81 rural roads are *being* reconstructed by RAMP in Imo State. Other members of the monitoring team are: Mrs. Patricia Ekeji, (Sec.) and Deputy Chief of Staff, Barr. Emeka Agbor.
