Owerri North political heavyweight and former Senatorial Candidate in the 2019 general election , Chief. Mike Nwachukwu (Mpidike) has reiterated his committment , support and loyalty to the progressive ideology and vision of the APC . He said this at his residence while having in audience the three chairmen of APC in Owerri Federal Constituency , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim (Owerri Municipal) , Hon. Humphrey umunnakwe (Owerri west) and Hon. Kelechi Azike(Owerri North), who visited him to solicit his continued support to the All Progressive Congress and even in the discharge of their duties.
Chief Mike Nwachukwu who felt elated at the show of regard and acknowledgement explained that the APC have come to stay in IMO state and Owerri North , with the obvious reason that all Political power players in the LGA are in the APC . He added , that as the party's date for Congress draws near , what will show the exceptional output of any party LGA or ward Chairman is his ability to collapse all structures or parties into the APC .
Chief Nwachukwu expressed confidence in the new crop of LGA party Chairmen in the constituency , citing that each of the Chairmen enjoy a wonderful résumé based on their past political trailblazing exposures especially the APC Chairman of Owerri Municipal , who was the immediate past Chairman of Imo Transport Company. This he said showed that the party took their time in selecting new caretaker executives that'll move the party forward.
In quick reaction , the APC Chairman of Owerri Municipal , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim , on behalf of his team thanked Chief. Nwachukwu for the warm reception he gave them. He added that such show of support was never in doubt as Chief. Mike have overtime shown genuine love to the APC ideology and the Shared Prosperity vision of the state Governor , Dist.Sen. Hope Uzodinma . He added that the Leader's closeness to the presidency will sure bring to bare dividends of Democracy to the people of Owerri North and the state in general .
The Tripartite Chairmen while asking for support from the party Leader , also availed their loyalty and regard to him citing their belief in his capacity to handle effectively any responsibility thrown at him by the State or federal government in no distant time .
