NEXT ELECTION WILL BE CELEBRATION GALORE FOR APC....Engr Akarachi

 



An astute businessman, community leader and a foremost philanthropist, High Chief George Whyte Iwuamadi (Amadioha 1 of Ikeduru, Oshimiriatata 1 ndi Igbo), Sunday 18, 2021 formally declared for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at his Ebikoro Uzoagba country-home of Ikeduru Local government area of Imo State.



The BSc holder in Political Science and a graduate of Imo State University Owerri dazzled his people and guests in a ceremony that witnessed the presence of who is whom in the political clime.



In a brief opening remark, the state Chairman of the party Chief Barr. Marcon Nlemigbo said that the party was happy to receive him in their midst and promised to work with him to move the state forward. 


Representing the executive governor of the state, the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prof. Placid Njoku said that the Governor was elated to have a personality like High Chief George White in the party noting that his presence will further accelerate the dividends of democracy closer to the people of Uzoagba while assuring that "As a bonifide member of APC, all the rights and privileges due you will be accorded to you".


The governor also promised to expedite action on the current ongoing of the construction of the uzoagba road. 


"As I was coming into this community I witnessed that the road was already being graded and that is to show that the government is working and with your coming into our great party, I will charge you to follow it up faithfully to make sure that the work is completed in record time" he said.


Advising the new entrant, the governor admonished him to always do those things that will only uplift the well-being of his people and to always defend and protect their interests.


Responding, the highly spirited Ooshimmiri thanked the governor for receiving him with open arms. He also thanked the leadership of the party led by Chief Barr. Marcon Nlemigbo and all the guests for coming to identify with him and promised to work and join hands with the Governor in moving the state forward.


Also speaking, the founder of Akarachi Foundation, Engr. Akarachi Amadi said that the gathering was a good outing as it is going to spell fortunes for the political advantage of the APC, noting that as a result of the caliber of people that are now in the party the next election will be a celebration galore.


"We have come here today to identify with, and welcome our brother High Chief George White into our fold - APC and it is good to note that with the caliber of people in our great party today, the next election will be a celebration celebration celebration for our great party" said the young philanthropist. 


In a vote of thanks, a former PDP stalwart and a former Senatorial aspirant under the PDP who defected to the APC recently - Prince Sly Ugochukwu (UgoSly) noted that all the people that matter in the state are now in the APC while taking a swipe on the opposition PDP saying that the PDP is a like a fish who swallows its own.


"All the good people that matter are decamping into APC and are now here and what is left in the PDP today are likened to those in the animal kingdom where the big fishes swallow the small fishes own. The PDP is a party that eats its own and the party where the big fishes swallows the small fishes, the small fishes won't grow" said UgoSly.


"We have come here today to honor and welcome High Chief George White (Ooshimmiriiii chorused the people) into our fold - APC where the big fishes don't swallow their small fishes and here, the sky is his limit" he concluded.


High point of the occasion was when the representative of the executive governor handed over the broom to the new entrant.
