Before the first quarter of the year 2021, the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguish Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma flagged off the dualization and reconstruction of the over due Owerri/Okigwe Express Road, the construction of the roads was flagged off from Okata Nkwor Bridge Akabo in Ikeduru LGA.
As part of the 3R mantra of the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguish Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma which are Rehabilitation, Recovery and RECONSTRUCTION, IT'S WORTHY TO NOTE THAT THE PROMISE GOVERNOR UZODIMMA MADE FOR DURABLE INFRASTRUCTURE BY ENGAGING GRANUBERG CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO HANDLE THE ROAD PROJECT WAS ACCEPTED BY EVERY WELL MEANING IMOLITES AND NIGERIANS.
In an interview with Ikeduru Local Government Area Chairman High Chief Tony Jude Iwuamadi, he said that so far the Road Reconstruction and Rehabilitation which started from Okata Nkwo Bridge, Akabo in Ikeduru LGA and work commenced immediately without any influence of any type.
Honorable Iwuamadi maintained that ever since work commenced the contractor and his team of Engineers have never relent nor deviates from the specifications, terms condition of contract.
The Ikeduru LGA Boss added that so far the Construction has gone over 80% with quality materials, solid Stone Base of about 10inches which the construction has crossed from Ikeduru LGA down to Isiala Mbano LGA.
The dividend of Democracy that has reached the people of Imo State through the people's Oriented policies and programs that has impacted positively to the well being of the people is welcome development.
Chief Iwuamadi further eulogies the Governor His Excellency Distinguish Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma for purposeful leadership he has exhibited so far which has suppressed his predecessors, he bacon on the him not to relent no matter the challenges from the evil doers, adding that Imo State is save for investors because the Governor has created the atmosphere..he disclosed.
