In our efforts to alleviate the harsh economic conditions of some of our vulnerable indigenes, my office has been able to locate the Osuoha couple who are limited in their speech and hearing, using the help of the Imo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu.
It took us several months to find them but on Monday, we located the couple; Mr. and Mrs. Chima Osuoha, in Umuihie Amaowuihe, Ubommiri, in Mbaitolu L.G.A, Imo State, and they were able to receive the message and gifts my office sent.
It has been reported that they were happy to receive their august visitors and my thanks go out to them for their prayers and their gratitude.
I also wish to extend thanks to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, NCWS secretary of Mbaitoli LGA, Mrs. Joy Ajoku, and other employees of the Ministry of Woman Affairs and Vulnerable Groups present for the visit.
The good Lord will continue to bless us and strengthen our lives so that we can all do even more for the people around us.
