The Tripartite APC Chairmen of Owerri Federal Constituency , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim (Apex Chairman of Owerri Municipal) , Hon. Humphrey Umunnakwe (Owerri West) and Hon. Kelechi Azike (Owerri North) , today kick started their constituency Leadership sensitization tour by paying a visit to the Apex Leader of APC in Owerri Zone , Prince Lemmy Akakem at his residence .
The delegation which was led by the APC Chairman of Owerri Municipal , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim , had the Chairman express the desire of the team to work hand in glove with the Apex Leader. Hon. Onyekachi expressed that the importance of Prince Lemmy in the overall development of the federal constituency , the zone and the state cannot be overemphasized.
The Chairman exposed to the knowledge of those present at the meeting that Prince. Lemmy Akakem was one of the few Leaders in the zone that came openly to support the candidature and eventual emergence of Dist.Sen . Hope Uzodinma as Governor of IMO state , describing him as a man who saw tomorrow . He added that the visit is to show solidarity , support and loyalty to the Apex Leader and in return ask for his blessing as they undertake the responsibility of making APC the only surviving party in the zone.
In a reciprocal show of sportsmanship , the Apex Leader of APC in Owerri Zone , Prince . Lemmy Akakem Thanked the Chairmen that came visiting . He said never before has he seen the kind of symbiotic relationships the Chairmen are currently exhibiting , saying that such moves will ensure cohesion and unity of purpose in the party .
Prince . Lemmy then asked the Chairmen to discharge their duties with sincerity , passion and dedication expected to help APC in the Zone achieve her desired plans and objectives . He promised to be readily available to the Chairmen whenever needed as the plan to make APC the party to beat is every Shared Prosperity Apostle's responsibility .
