In his avowed commitment to ensure that peace and security is restored to the eastern heartland state, Governor Hope Uzodimma received the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police Force IGP Alkali Baba Usman in Owerri for the commissioning of the New Headquarters of the Imo State Joint Security Network - The New Operation Search and Flush.
Also commissioned were brand new security vehicles and other state of the art security infrastructures provided by His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma to boast security network of the state.
It will be recalled that the governor has remained exceptionally clinical in the business of governance as he not left any stone unturned in his efforts to confront the issues of insecurity and unemployment. Recently, over 15 000 youths trained in various skills and trades by the state ministry of Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition were empowered with 250000 start-up pack totally over 4 billion naira as a strategy to stimulate economic growth and crime reduction.
