As the ruling All Progressive Congress APC Ward Congresses scheduled for last Saturday the 31st July,2021 has come and gone with huge turnout of party faithfuls across the 774 Local Government Area Councils in the 36 States including FCT, Abuja.
There are mixed feelings and incitements from the opposition, considering the peaceful atmosphere party members exhibited before, during and after the Ward Congress.
However some party chieftains in Ikeduru LGA have threatened to drag to court any one found making fake news and impersonation towards achieving nothing but character defamation.
One of the Leaders, High Chief George White Iwuamadi who revealed the outcome of the Saturday 31st APC Ward Congress in Ikeduru LGA, described the Congress as the most unique Congresses in the history of Democracy in Nigeria.
Chief George White Iwuamadi argued that how can one faceless Chidi Madu claim and make statement without his consent, an attitude he described as character defamation and is a punishable offence in the law of Nigeria of 1999 as amended.
George White frowned at the empty publication and how the faceless writer tagged his name as among APC leaders in Ikeduru LGA that has rejected the outcome of the Congress.
George White maintain that if fake news is not put to a stop that it will damage alot in the political history of Democratic System like ours.
George White who is a full fledged card carrying member of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC held from Ebikoro Uzoagba, added that the Congress in his ward took place at Central School Uzoagba was peaceful and successful no atom of setback, aggrieved individuals nor contestants, nor interference by The Owerri Zone Operational Leader of APC, Prince Charles Amadi, Chief George White wondered how the faceless Chidi Madu fabricated claims that the Congress was full of irregularities.
George White Iwuamadi illustrated his anger over what he tagged, imposters on the field of play to disorganize the peaceful and brotherly love and relationship that has existed in the party in the locality.
Meanwhile members of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ikeduru LGA chapter has disassociate herself from the faceless Chidi Madu who fabricated words in the name news making mockery of himself and not the Union also they added that the faceless Chidi Madu is not from Ikeduru.
