PDP was once an organized peaceful party. It had most states in Nigeria under her control including the two arms of the National Assembly.
PDP had an agreed zoning arrangement which distributed power to all the zones in Nigeria.
*THEN enter Emeka Ihedioha with his ambition*
The Deputy Senate President was zoned to the Igbo's of the South East with Ike Ekweremadu, while the Deputy Speaker was zoned for the Yoruba' s of the Southwest.
But as far as Ihedioha is concerned, let PDP go to hell, and let the Yoruba's go to hell also.
Despite pleadings and warnings from the entire Yoruba nation, Ihedioha devised the most retrogressive conspiracy with a Fulani man in the person of Aminu Tambuwal to destroy the PDP zoning arrangement which culminated in the eventual collapse of the Jonathan government.
This conspiracy eventually deepened the mistrust between the Yoruba's and the Igbo's. In fact the Yoruba realignment as a result, saw to the collapse of PDP in the South West and the nation.
IHEDIOHA even went to great lengths to disguise himself. He started wearing Fulani attire to sell himself to his sponsors from Sokoto.
On the day of the election for principal positions into the House of Representatives, Ihedioha was smuggled into the chamber wearing a full Hausa-Fulani regalia to not only please the northerners but to avoid the ambush of the Yoruba members of the House of Representatives whom he betrayed.
Pretenders do the worst and Emeka Ihedioha is the worst of them all.
Today he has aligned himself again with the northern Aminu Tambuwal to scuttle the quest for a South East President.
IHEDIOHA'S right hand man, Hon. Rufus Omeire has floated an organization funded by Ihedioha for Tambuwal. Only days ago, Omeire fired his first salvo by castigating Atiku Abubakar for running for President.
It all has the imprint of Ihedioha. Using hired hands to degenerate innocent people just to achieve personal political objectives.
