Mrs CHIOMA UZODIMMA* ably represented by the wife of the Speaker Imo State House of Assembly *Hon Mrs Chinyere Emeziem* to the grand finale of Imo State women August Meeting in Onuimo tagged. *NZUKO UMU NWANYI OMA*
The host who doubles as the chairperson of Onuimo *Hon Chief Christiana Ijezie* accompanied by the husband Hon Chief *Charles Ijezie (Okemiri)* arrived the venue to a rousing welcome by the elegantly dressed women Honorably seated.
while speaking the wife of the TC Chairman eulogized the wife of the Governor of Imo state, for always making the affairs of Imo women a priority especially that of Onuimo Vulnerable indigent women as she also applauded the Governor of Imo State *His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodimma* for always giving the wife the very needed support to excel as she ended by admonishing the women to be good ambassadors of Onuimo championing it's Development and exhibitinhg godly characters.
*Hon Mrs Chinyere Emeziem* who stood in for the wife of the Governor, while addressing the women, implored Onuimo women to imbibe the spirit of love, good character and tolerance which is the true beauty of the women as she continued by telling them to always pray for their husbands to succeed.
The chairman of Onuimo Local Government Hon Chief Charles Ijezie (Okemiri) while making the closing remarks thanks her Excellency the wife of the executive governor of Imo state for coming to Onuimo as he admonished the women to be good ambassadors of Onuimo, he also
applauded his Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodimma for being a gender friendly Governor and one whose love for the empowerment of Imo women in general and Onuimo Women in particular is second to none.
Highpoint of the Event was the empowerment of over 100 Onuimo indigent women, the March pass, by the women of all the ten wards in which Owerri Okwe ward 2 took first position, Umuna ward 5 took second position, and Okwelle ward 10 took 3rd position, and the electrifying and fire brand display of the best Cultural group in Onuimo Otu Udoka Dance group which send the whole arena into a frenzy and animated atmosphere.
The event was attended by Dr Mrs Chukwulebe(wife of the formal commissioner of Health Imo state), Hon Mrs Nkeiru Ijomah, Hon Tina Anya, Hon Chief James Esile, Hon Vitalis lebechi (Noble) Ndi Eze Onuimo, the clergies, Youth leaders, IMC councilors and others high powered delegations too numerous to mention.
