The incoming administration in Anambra State, under the leadership of His Excellency Distinguished Sen. Andy Uba MFR, will undertake a holistic approach to reposition all aspects of the State.There is no gainsaying, that the Anambra is currently in a comatose State.
To this end, the new APC Government in Anambra State(by the special grace of God), will have her hands full in her bid to bring back the State to her feet. Indeed, the task will be enormous but, we are grateful to God that the man that is coming on board, has more than what it takes not only to restore Anambra State to her original LIGHT of the NATION status. But, also make the State a reference point among the committee of States, in Nigeria, in terms of development; both in the critical Infrastructural sector and human capacity.
One of the sectors, that will receive urgent attention from IGWEBUIKE's Government is the Anambra State Civil/Public service. Being quite aware of the critical role of the civil service in the succes or otherwise, of Government policies and programmes. Sen. Andy Uba will ensure a well positioned and highly resourceful civil/Public service.
To ensure effective and result oriented civil service.IGWEBUIKE will carry out a comprehensive CiVIL/PUBLIC SERVICE REFORM. This is to bring Anambra State workers up to the standard of effectively marching the technologically driven civilpublic service of the contemporary time.
Before going further, let me make some vital clarifications on the term "CIVIL/PUBLIC SERVICE REFORM" In the context that the highly experienced administrator cum politician is envisaging. The core objective, that the Distinguished Senator set to achieve with such reform is purely on the basis of ensuring a right environment to work with, availability of modern gadgets, training and retraining of staff to bring them up to fit into the ICT driven era and finally a better welfare packages for civil and public workers in Anambra State.
These clarifications, become necessary to avoid twisting and misinterpreting the noble idea of Sen. Andy Uba by Political miscreants and their media urchins to score cheap Political propaganda and blackmail him and his party the APC.
KEY INGREDIENTS OF REFORM:
✍️ To set up a panel to carry out a comprehensive review of promotions and weldone packages.This will be aimed at ascertaining those workers who have not enjoyed promotions and other remunerations as and when due. At the of the panel's assignment, those whose promotions and other benefits have been delayed or outrightly denied by his predecessors will be immediately taken care of.
✍️Training and retraining of civil/public servants(various cadres), in the State workforce. This is to enhance competence, capacity, experience and performances. IGWEBUIKE's administration will pursue a digital oriented civil cum public service in Anambra State.
This will be geared towards, optimal productivity.
✍️ Adding fresh blood into the system: The REFORM will also target injecting fresh blood into the state workforce.
Massive employments of young school leavers into the Anambra State Civil/Public Service, will be a major key component of the APC led administration. This is Sen. Andy Uba's deliberate strategy, to lay a solid foundation for successions in the state's civil/Public Service. Again, it is another strategic plan by IGWEBUIKE, to reduce to the barest minimum, the present high unemployment level in Anambra State.
Furthermore, providing employment opportunities, to many of the young school leavers, will help in no small measure to curb the insecurity rate in the State.
✍️Pensions, Gratuities, Leave allowances and other benefits, due to the workers, will be adequately harmonized as part of the reform.
IGWEBUIKE, intends to ensure that civil/public servants of Anambra State, under him as the Executive Governor(by the special grace of God), enjoy the best of conducive working environment.Importantly, the reform, will enable the new administration, to understand the level of the rot in the system and come up with ways to straighten the sector.
Finally, it is very important also to note; that all the components of the VISION of Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba MFR(Igwebuike Ndi-Anambra), as enshrined in his well articulated Manifestos, are all directed towards returning Anambra State back to the path of greatness.
Ndi-Anambra, take your destiny in your hands and go for the man whose sole purpose of seeking to be the Executive Governor of Anambra State, is purely to build a State that will be the delight of Ndi-Anambra and the envy of Nigerians at home and in diaspora.
Don't EVER make the mistake of allowing those seeking the position of the chief Security of Anambra State, in order to loot the State treasury to upset their BAD DEBTS, or those fighting to get the position just to protect narrow selfish interests to the detriment of the larger Anambraians, have their way.
Anambra State, has been a victim of this unfortunate scenerio for years now. Therefore, it is time to say capital NO! To Political godsons and their godfathers/ godmothers in Anambra State.
Ndi-Anambra, MUST not be reduced to the slavery level the good people of Abia State, have been forced into in the last 15 years. No thanks to failure cum treasury looter and his Political stooge.
In the light of all the foregoing, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba MFR(Igwebuike Ndi-Anambra), is the ONLY PERFECT ANSWER.
