Nigeria is the second biggest crude
oil producing nation after Libya in Africa.
As we all know, the population of Nigerians are way above 200 million, the country and it's citizens depend on imported refined products due to lack of domestic refining capacity.
This results to the Federal Government giving out licence to individuals and corporate companies to start the process of setting up molecular refineries in Nigeria.
This process started way back in the year 1990 (over 30 years now).
The license was overseen by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), an agency domiciled in Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
Since then, over 100 licences have been given out amongst the license include the 'ORIENTAL OIL FIELDS' which spans within Aguleri-Otuocha-Anyamelu axis.
So far, some states like Edo, Delta and Rivers have tapped into this golden opportunity.
What then is holding that of Anambra State backwards?
The answer is simple!
Lack of political will and maladministration from the previous government of APGA and as well that of Mr. Willy Obiano too.
Recall that with the new Niger Delta Bill sponsored by Distinguish Senator Andy Uba, The Ex-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, sometimes during his campaign in 2011 in Anambra State pronounced Anambra State an oil producing State.
But it never saw the light of the day, because it was never gazetted despite traces of quantifiable on-shore and Off-shore crude located in Anambra State.
Again, the PDP with her promise and fail style of leadership raped Ndi-Anambra and SouthEast without remorse coupled with that of Apga too
I wonder why some Anambarians are still supporting the PDP and her cousin sister, APGA!
Rivers, Delta and Edo molecular refineries are running and what could be holding our own molecular refinery in Anambra State, Whereas 20% of Notable Nigerian Oil Moguls are from Anambra State. I ask again what is holding us?
Licence To Establish (LTE), Approval To Construct (ATC) and Licence to Operation (LTO), I understand have been acquired, so why won't Anambra State have it's molecular refineries?
I call on the good people of Anambra State to rally round Senator Andy Uba (MFR), the man with pedigree to stir up industrial Oil revolution in our dear state.
This molecular refinery will only come to fruition if someone like Distinguished Senator Andy Uba who will connect Anambra with the Center is elected as the Governor of Anambra State by November 6th, 2021.
The Oriental oil fields in our state, if constructed will help meet the increasing domestic fuel demands, thereby increasing Nigeria's refinery in folds.
It will also generate internal revenues and equally generate foreign exchange through exports to our neighboring countries.
The Aguleri-Otuocha-Anyamelu molecular refinery can produce 5million tones of gasoline, 3.2 million tones of diesel, 2.2 million tones of jet fuel, about 0.3million tones of polypropylene, 0.1 million tones of propane, 15,000 tones of sulphur, 0.2 million tones of carbon feeds etc.
The molecular plants will major in alkylation, hydrocracking, fractional distillation, isomerization, blending and refining of products and dispensing of cooking gas at a very cheaper and affordable price to our people, to help in combating climate change.
If Senator Andy Uba comes on board through APC, he will hit the ground running.
About 350,000 direct and indirect jobs shall be provided for our graduates and skilled brothers through this project for a start.
Accessible roads that link all these aforementioned Local Governments shall be constructed for easy transportation of refined products.
Equally, with the coming on board of our inland dry port, which Senator Andy Uba (MFR) has greatly seen to it's take off, through all his important bills on maritime sectors and transport, the transportation of our refined products to other countries will generate huge internal revenue will be a big plus to Ndi-Anambra.
Finally, artisans like welders and fabricators e.t.c. will be engaged and crime will be reduced immensely.
Anambra State is indeed blessed!
Support Senator Andy Uba (MFR) for our dear state prosperity and this is one of my reasons why I Stand With Andy Uba
