REAL LEADERS ARE INFLUENCERS

Influencers are the real leaders, those who positively influence others. You are a leader not because some sycophantic people want to praise you by imposing you as a leader or praising you to heaven high. Political appointment or office or holding an elective position does not qualify you to be a leader. It is the way you treat others or behave or the influence you exert on others in a positive to improve their well-being that makes you a leader.

You are a leader when you positively influence others. So leadership is not about title, wealth, or position. Every leader worth the name and salt should leave something permanently behind when he leaves the stage. It is what is called legacy. How many people did you influence when you were alive? What legacy did you leave behind? If you do not leave a legacy behind when you die, you are not a leader.

A leader must be kind, generous, and selfless. Somebody ready to starve himself for others to eat. Somebody who can sacrifice their comfort for others to have. People who accumulate or appropriate for themselves what is common patrimony are not leaders.

Leaders have enormous powers, but the power should be used to advance their society or community. It is not to use the powers to oppress, suppress, put down others, impose their whims and caprices on the less privileged or opponents.

A good leader must use his power to help people. He must not use the power to feather his selfish interest or to promote himself. The whole essence of power is to be a humble servant to serve the community or society.
