According to Almakura as one of the parincipal actors that participated in the merger process, it's expediant for him to contest for the position of the APC National Chairman to guard the process for the the generation yet unborn.
Reaffirming his desire to work with legislatives arm at all level, Sen. Almakura told the National Assembly members that he can only emerge with their support and cooperation.
Senator Almakura promised to ensure internal democracy and ahereance to the rule of law by providing a level playing ground to all party members for a united, peaceful and stronger party.
While soliciting the support of the national Assembly members, Senator Almakura reiterated that when he becomes the next National Chairman he will provide a platform for women and youths as well as people with special needs to enable them contribute towards to the development of the party.
Almakura added that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear as Former Youth Leader, Former Governor, and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to woo other political party members and to retain the seat at the center and beyond.
In their separate remakes, Deputy Speaker Alhaji Idris Wase and House leader, Alhasan Doguwa both described Senator Almakura as most deserving, transparent, accountable and someone who has the capacity to delivered the party to success.
The duo promised to do everything within their power to conversed support for Almakura to emerge as the next APC National Chairman.
The event was clamax with questions and answers session just as all the members promised to mobilize support for Almakura on the 26th March, 2022 convention.
