We, the electorates in Imo East Senatorial Zone have thoroughly and painstakingly studied the different candidates angling for the Senate Seat in the Zone and we have come to the conclusion that SLY is the correct man.
We have examined him in character and in learning and we have found him worthy of our trust and our votes!
We, therefore, hereby issue a MANDAMUS to the persons concerned to ensure that SLY bears the flag of our Great Party, APC for Senate Seat in Imo East Senatorial Zone in the forthcoming general elections and we shall ensure that he is delivered by the strength of our votes.
Interpretations
MANDAMUS is an extraordinary Writ of Summons issued by a Court of competent jurisdiction to compel persons in positions of authority to perform some important duty that is absolute and in which the persons are estopped from exercising discretion other than to simply obey the demands of the Mandamus. This instrument of law is applied when all other legal procedures have failed.
The persons in question, in this case, are our distinguished Party hierarchies and delegates whose responsibility it is to elect the proper candidate to bear the flag of our great Party for Senate Seat in Imo East Senatorial Zone come 2023.
The Court, on the other hand are the electorates - the citizens of Imo East Senatorial Zone whose decision on who will properly represent them in the Red Chamber is final!
Why the MANDAMUS? SLY's loyalty to our great party is absolute.
His contributions are obvious.
His academic and legal heights are unmatchable.
His patience is limitless.
We, therefore, estop any further postponement of the emergence of this intellectual great politician for Senate Seat in our Zone. His time is now.
Heaven has ordained it and we stand by it, hence this extraordinary Writ!
