The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State wishes to reassure the teaming party faithful and stakeholders, particularly all political aspirants under the platform of our party that our great APC as presently constituted under the able leadership of Hon. Macdonald Ebere, PhD KSJI, is effectively positioned to win all elections in Owerri zone and Imo State in general.
This clarification became necessary following some unpopular insinuations and conjectures of one or two individuals, who may not have acquainted themselves with the renewed commitment and efforts of the leadership of the party in the state to building our party into a popular and dependable brand in the state.
It is instructive to recall that since the emergence of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma as the Governor of the State and leader of our party and his diligent delivery of democracy dividends through the shared prosperity mantra of reconstruction, recovery and rehabilitation, the value of our party has increased and its fortune tremendously improved.
While we are not unmindful of the antics of those who may wish to undermine the credibility and popularity of our party and its leadership, we wish to reassure our esteemed party men and women that there is no cause for alarm. Imo APC is not only united but strong, vibrant and popular.
All aspirants are therefore advised to go about their campaigns and consultations freely, as the party remain committed to providing a level playing field for every contestants
