In recognition and appreciation of the sterling performance of the Honorable Member representing Okigwe North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, the Coalition of Women Groups in Okigwe North, have unanimously endorsed her to be reelected in 2023, to continue in her pragmatic and people centric representation.
The endorsement of Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, came while the coalition was having a round table strategic meeting on 3rd May, 2023, to chant the way forward, and take major decisions for the betterment and development of Okigwe North.
During the meeting, they noted that Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, have within just two year of being elected into the house of Representatives, surpassed the expectations of her constituents, and distinguished herself through her numerous impactful and verifyable projects, and also being a very dependable and vocal voice speaking for her people in the Green Chamber.
The coalition further opined that her reelection in 2023, will bring nothing but tremendous development to Okigwe North, and will further ensure she consolidates on the good works she has already started. They promised to mobilize, and throw their weight behind her during the 2023 elections.
These Coalition of Women Groups are women drawn from various women organisations in Okigwe North, which includes, National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Market Women Organisations (MWO), Onwa Babes, Oganihu Women, United Women for Peace Building, Catholic Women Organisation (CWO), International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Okigwe Zone Daughters Wives and league (OZDAWEL) Women, Among others.
