DEMOCRACY thrives with the rule of law. The fundamental principle is that the law is always supreme and must be the guiding spirit of all actions in public life. Those who fail to abide by the letter and spirit of the law get punished.
A legislature is one meant to be closer to his constituents,the basic reason for electing him/her is to always be on ground for the people on whose mandate he legislates.
This constituents averagely are members of a political party on it's flag and ticket any legislature wins.
Ikeduru APC can be best described as an orphan, because no breath or boast of a legislature who went into Imo State House Of Assembly.
Amb. Uche Ogbuagu since his uncelebrated defection in January 2020 after the reclaiming of the people mandate by His Excellency, Gov. Hope Uzodimma, has never regarded the party in the LGA.
He has never respected, attended or regarded any APC political activities both at the state level and the LGA.
He has no respect for leaders appointed by His Excellency the Governor in the LGA
The Comedian legislature didn't attend any of the congresses that produced ward, LGA and State Excos as such, he does not know the occupants of various political positions, what a legislature.
Less can not be said by our sister constituency (Mbaitoli)
Now is time for the party to reward him bountifully, though that has started by the response he got from the party after sending an invitation letter for a meeting which he has never done since January 2020.
I am asking Ikeduru APC faithful,will you respond or attend a meeting called by a legislature who has never responded nor attended any of yours in the past?
I am sure Mbaitoli APC will not betray their sister LGA by attended such meeting.
