*Samdaddy Slows Down Campaign Plans*
The result of the opinion survey recently conducted by an independent opinion research outfit, Concept Masters, which tipped Governor Hope Uzodinma of APC as leading in 15 out of the 25 LGAs where the survey held, seems to have put shivers down the spine of the PDP Govrrnorship Candidate, Mr Samuel Anyanwu as he has slowed down on his campaign plans.
A source close to his campaign circle, said since the release of the survey report, the PDP national scribe has been heavily devastated prompting him to call-off all major campaign schedules especially the ones requiring huge financial expenses.
The insider said his worry stems from the fact that the report favoured him in all the areas known to be PDP strongholds and failed him in all the areas where the party has challenges, a signal showing the fact that he needs to approach the upcoming election with utmost caution.
It will be recalled that an Owerri-based independent opinion research outfit, Concept Masters,had recently released the report of its survey on registered voters conducted between 1st and 30th September,2023 which credited 33,763 respondents representing 38.1% as favouring Hope Uzodinma out of 88,564 registered voters who were interviewed in the course of the exercise. He also came tops in 15 out of the 25 LGAs where the survey held.
The report also showed Mr Samuel Anyanwu garnering 23,622 respondents representing 26.7% and winning only 6 out of the 25 LGAs where the survey held.
