IMO ELECTIONS: ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER.
The parable of the coming November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in Imo State is like a parable of one good turn which in all honesty deserves another. It is also a parable of the fact that the reward for a good work is more work.
This is the unanimous resolution of many people in Imo State whom have witnessed good governance in the last three years of Governor Hope Uzodimma's Administration. While the opposition parties are busy making false political propaganda, Governor Hope Uzodimma's good governance, policies and programmes keep projecting him to the public and widening the scope of his supporters. Governor Hope Uzodimma is a governor that has done more works but less publicity in the state more than any governor since 1999.
Despite challenges of insecurity in the southeast region, Governor Hope Uzodimma has been able to keep his head above water by delivering people centered and people oriented programmes, policies and projects.
The people of Imo State have thus committed themselves to the parable that says that "one good turn deserves another". This was contained in a statement by some groups of Imo State stakeholders comprising indigenes and residents of different age groups who unanimously shown and displayed their support and interest for the re-election bid of the governor. They assured the governor that it's not in the character of Igbos especially Imo State people to betray trust and pay evil for good.
In their final submission, they noted that the good work the governor has done would surely earn him total victory in the coming election as they are ready to go all out to canvass for the governor. According to them, they made it known that their voluntary campaign strategy is to serve as their generous contribution to the continuity of massive growth and development Imo State is presently enjoying.
