In and around Imo State, there is immense palpable feeling of anticipation percolating; an obvious atmosphere of excitement leading up to the inauguration of Distinguished Senator, Governor Hope Uzodimma's Second Coming!!!!!

The jitters and goose pimples are as well gathering. Next Monday January 15, 2024, will go down in the historic legacy being crafted by the 'wunderkind' chief executive of our beloved state. 

The positive feelings and sentiments amongst the populace are futuristic, vibrant and forward looking. Optimism in the second term of the widely popular Uzodimma administration is obviously intense and quite welcoming. No room for pessimism here, folks. 

Imolites home and abroad are happy and comfortable for the continuation of the earth-shattering mind-blowing infrastructure-driven transformation formulated by His Excellency to continue unabated and unperturbed. Just as they say in America, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." So far, the trajectory of state affairs and governance are smoothly humming along like a German locomotive. The humming birds are singing there enticing lullabies in our dear state. Tranquility and relative peace are earnestly returning to the heartland. Who could ask for more??

Still, His Excellency, also known as the " governor general of South East," will eventually deliver much more than expected. You can bet the mortgage money that the quintessential no-nonsense overachiever will handsomely, based on his track record compensate Imolites for such scorched-earth election victory in the just concluded gubernatorial contest.

The dividends of good governance and republic democracy will be evident in the second term. I can assure you that His Excellency is move confident than ever in his unflinching resolve to elevate Imo State to stratospheric heights. He is well-versed and laser-focused on the big picture of governance: local, state and national. His political prowess, acumen, resilience and know-how will shine and shimmer in the second term. 

The People's security, economic prosperity and relative progress will be paramount in the second term. There is immense feeling and sense of "Renewed Hope" come January 15.

Yes, folks. There is no denying that the popular Uzodimma revolution and revitalization of our entire state continues.... 

We are all a living breathing witness of a political juggernaut, who religiously shuns brinkmanship and politics of divide & conquer. A leader who willingly extends hands of togetherness across the aisle to fulfill the people's mandate. A natural talent on how to discover and manage human resources, even when such people habour conflicting opinions and interests. 

In my humble opinion, from the outside looking in, the future of our state looks so bright, we may need sunglasses.

On the other hand, it's not the Uzodimma administration's forte to engage in chauvinistic nepotism; so, do not expect to see the newly minted "commissiner for happiness." I can vouch for His Excellency because he's not that frugal type. He's professional, meticulous and methodical. He's not going that route. No sir!!!
