CHIEF JERRY CHUKWUEKE FELICITATES WITH BROTHER-IN-LAW PROF. BARTH NNAJI, COUSIN, DR. MRS AGATHA NNAJI NEE CHUKWUEKE AND PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU ON THE COMMISSIONING OF GEOMETRIC INTEGRATED POWER STATION OSISIOMA IN ABIA STATE.

 *CHIEF JERRY CHUKWUEKE FELICITATES WITH BROTHER-IN-LAW PROF. BARTH NNAJI, COUSIN, DR. MRS AGATHA NNAJI NEE CHUKWUEKE AND PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU ON THE COMMISSIONING OF GEOMETRIC INTEGRATED POWER STATION  OSISIOMA IN ABIA STATE.

In a statement released to the press from his Ikoyi, Lagos residence, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, on behalf of the Chukwueke family dynasty of Awaka praised the resilience of Prof. Nnaji and his team for the monumental accomplishment of the much needed independent power production (IPP) for about 20 years.

Chief Chukwueke also extended felicitations to the Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Kassim Shettima who represented the President and the 5 southeast governors for the commissioning of Geometric integrated Power project and the flag off the "light up southeast" project in Enugu. It's, therefore, not a coincidence of history that the two transformational events took place simultaneously, Chief Chukwueke observed. 

Ohamadike of Owerri further said that the pivotal role of Geometric Power as the first ever Independent power company with a capacity of 181 mega watts of electricity generation, distribution and metering in  Nigeria, goes a long way to reaffirm Igbos as the pacesetter in the project Nigeria. 

This transformational project, he further said, is in the vision of Ohanaeze Ndigbo for a southeast regional economic development plan and serves as a catalyst for foreign investment, and job creation for our teeming unemployed youths and women. The statement concluded.

It's, however, worthy of note that Dr. Mrs. Agatha Nnaji nee Chukwueke, wife  of Prof. Nnaji, and a director in Geometric Power, is the first daughter of Sir. VO Chukwueke, former Chief Agricultural officer in the defunct East Central State and  later became the Director Eastern Palm Produce.
