Imo Government Commiserates with Orji-Abadua family.

...As late Hon. Justice Theresa Orji-Abadua is laid to rest

The Imo State Government has commiserated with the family of Orji- Abadua of Oziri Inyishi, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, over the demise of late Hon. Justice Theresa Ngolika Orji-Abadua, who was laid to rest in her husband's compound, today.

In his address after the funeral Mass, Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who was represented by his Deputy, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, PhD, said the deceased left behind, not just a wonderful family, but an amazing contribution to the judiciary.

"She was distinguished in her deeds. She was renowned in her relationship with others. She was amazing and very savvy. She was an Amazon of the Judiciary in Nigeria".

The Governor urged the congregation to emulate the life of the deceased, her good manners and exemplary social relationships.

"She is no longer here with us, but her legacies will continue to inspire us, even as her commitment to upholding the law and serving her community will be remembered for a very long time".

Delivering the homily, Rev. Father Sylvanus Onyejiuwa, described life as 'meaningless' and an 'absurdity', buttressing his point with the fact that the late Judge who influenced many lives positively and impacted the legal profession, even at the national level, died at a very 'poor age' of 64.

He however, reminded the congregation of the need to draw nearer to God, that at death, they will abandon everything and return to their maker, as death is inevitably a necessary end that must come when it will come".

May her soul rest in peace!
