*THE SEARCH FOR A UNITY CHAIRMAN IN IKORODU LGA*:

*PANACEA FOR PEACE* *AND SECURITY IN IKORODU LGA*

It's important to realise that almost all leaders have heroes and role models.

If a leader has a hero and role model.

It simply means that they fancy and imitate their hero and role models.

In the same vein, followers cannot be different from the leader they are following.

If a leader is a violent person, automatically he will produce violent followers.

Because followers imitate and fancy their hero and role model.

This is why the emergence of the next Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area must be properly scrutinized and x- rayed to know who their role model is and who is their hero in politics.

Because no one can give what he or she does not have.

Biblically, trees produce after their kind and even human beings cannot give birth to animals. Nature forbids such.

Let's be properly guided because a lion cannot give birth to a sheep neither can a sheep give birth to a lion.

Be that as it may, another interesting quality which the sought after Unity Chairman must possess is vision.

Vision is very vital in leadership.

A woman of vision is a woman of character, content and charisma.

Vision, quite simply, is a way of spelling out for your listeners  " the big picture " , to help them understand the effort in which they are engaged and win their  " buy in " - John Barnes. When properly employed, vision is indispensable to serious leadership .

Vision is particularly important in times of crisis as presently being seen in Ikorodu Local Government Area.

All thanks to the visionary, capable and meticulous Governor of Lagos State *His Excellency Babajide Sanwolu* who came and bailed out Lagosians with the Peoples' Charter of Needs Agenda of his administration.

It has raised hopes and empowered dreams of Lagos people. Our loyalty to your government is unalloyed and commitment, support and dedication undeterred.

Don't forget that United we stand but divided we fall. Therefore, on unity we stand. God bless us .
