 *RT HONOURABLE BARRISTER KENNEDY CHIDOZIE IBEH  :  CELEBRATING A LEADER OF SUBSTANCE AT 48* 

On the 25th of June 2024, Rt Honourable Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh, the Member Representing Obowo State Constituency in the Imo State House Of Assembly marked his 48th birthday.

For me, I can only wish him the best which life can give, as I join the rest of the world in congratulating and wishing him a very happy birthday.

This is not the time to start needling together his accomplishments for the whole world to see. This is because the greatness of his person and personality, and the genuineness of his inner thoughts will consume whatever I may put down in writing. Hence, I deliberately delayed writing this piece for two days.

Nevertheless,  while not reeling out his accomplishments so far in life, I must point out that as a Man of Uncommon Grace, Almighty God has, indeed, blessed him with love and will continue to do so.

A variable has two sides : the Converse and the Obverse. It is the fusion of the two sides that gives one the true impression of the given variable. Conversely, human personality is also like a variable, because the Converse and Obverse sides of an individual are loaded with positive and negative attributes, depending on who is doing the evaluation or depending where the evaluator belongs.

From my sociopolitical barometer, I make bold to say that Rt Honourable Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh has established himself as a CONSTANT ; vertically, horizontally and diagonally, vis-a-vis : 

1. As a Responsible Husband.

2. As a Good Father to his Children.

3. As a Foremost Legal Practitioner.

4. As an Astute Businessman and Entrepreneur.

5. As a  Prolific Lawmaker.

6. As a renowned Political leader.

7. As a notable Philanthropist.

8. As a Traditional Chief 

 I stated earlier that this is not the time to talk about the accomplishments of Nkenkenyi Obowo. However, while thanking Almighty God for Rt Honourable Barrister Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh on the special occasion of his 48th birthday, I must point out that as a legislator in the Imo State House Of Assembly, God allowed him to reach the pinnacle of the parliamentary leadership as Speaker on the 8th of November 2021, and was on the seat until the 19th of September 2022, when he resigned. Within his short period as the Speaker of IMHA, Rt Honourable Barrister Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh redefined the legislative process and, indeed, restored the dignity of the legislature and placed Imo State House of Assembly on a high pedestal, through legislative activism.

Again, Almighty God made it possible for Rt Honourable Barrister Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh to make history as the First and, so far, only Third Term Honourable Member Of the Imo State House Of Assembly. Indeed, he should be described as NWACHINEMERE. 

As an Elder of the House, by virtue of his unmatchable experience, he unties intricate and difficult parliamentary matters with ease, and this is why he is respected by his colleagues.

Personally, I have benefited from his benevolence, friendship, leadership and brotherhood. It will therefore be a mark and sign of ingratitude if I do not  say Happy Birthday to my Oga.

Once again, Congratulations And Happy 48th Birthday to Rt Honourable Barrister Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh (Nkenkenyi Obowo).
