In the convoluted drapery of Imo's political landscape and entrepreneurial sphere, a special name stands out as a beacon of hope, inspiration, empowerment and multifaceted success among the female folks. This distinguished individual is none other than Lady Dr. Clara Njoku  (Igolo Nwanyipuruichie), a phenomenal woman who has transcended boundaries in both the realms of politics and entrepreneurship. Her life’s narrative is a testament to resilience, ambition, and a tireless dedication to the betterment of Imo. Beyond her illustrious career in civil service and business, she is celebrated as a fashion and fitness enthusiast, philanthropist and a devoted Christian. 

She is the first daughter of Chief Sir & Lady Williams .C. Onuoha, who were disciplinarians and educationists. They instilled in her the good morals, sense of culture, values of determination and hard work. However, it was her unwavering commitment to the downtrodden especially the youths and widows that ignited her foray into politics.

She got married to the young Engr. Chibuzor Njoku in 1992 and were inducted into the prestigious Knighthood of St. Christopher in 2006. She is a wife, who is so proud of her husband and extremely loyal, knowing that her loyalty doesn't reduce her in any way, but rather makes her even more powerful and absolutely in charge of her home. She is that wife who knows the heart of her husband and who might joke with anything else in the world, but not her loving husband and father of her children. She adores her soulmate like a young maiden in love with a king, and that's part of the reasons, you can be sure that their love will be forever. She is a devout Christian and a great prayer partner to her husband and this can be reflected in the lifestyle of their four amiable children. So respectful, kind as their parents, and yet are embodiments of discipline, wisdom, compassion, mutual respect and love. 

Lady Dr. Clara Njoku’s political journey into the tumultuous world of Nigerian politics started when she contested for the Governorship election in 2015 on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). She is a charismatic leader who resonates the aspirations and concerns of the youths and widows. She is an unrepentant apostle of the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (onwa oyoko) because she considers him not just as a political leader or her boss but also an elder brother and mentor.

Her tireless advocacy for social justice, gender equality, and economic empowerment earned her a prominent position in the 3R administration in the State. She has also visited several countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and America. She holds a doctorate degree in International Relations. She had served as Special Adviser to Executive Governor on NEPAD where she made impactful contributions and was re-appointed to serve as Honourable Commissioner representing Owerri Zone in the Imo State House of Assembly Service Commission. Her ability to bridge divides and build consensus made her a respected figure in Imo’s political landscape.

Parallel to her political career, "Igolo Nwanyipuruichie" exhibited remarkable entrepreneurial prowess. She ventured into diverse business sectors, from importation of cars and furniture to export of palm and vegetable oil to importation of crops fertilizers to a Major distributor of alcohol beverage. Her success in the business world not only created economic opportunities but also served as a shining example of female leadership in traditionally male-dominated industries.

Furthermore, her true essence shines through her commitment to philanthropy and humanitarian activities. She has dedicated herself to numerous charitable endeavors, little wonder she founded The Rejoice International Foundation (RIF) in 2004 which has its headquarters in Houston Texas, USA and outreach across the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State. The foundation was set up to assist less privileged youths and widows and has achieved an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals.

In abridgement, Lady Dr Clara Njoku - Igolo Nwanyipuruichie is a woman of remarkable substance and achievement, an embodiment of the limitless potential that can be unlocked through dedication, vision, and unwavering determination.
