*The Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference* of last Saturday 10th August 2024 presented a classic case for the second time of when preparation meets opportunity. The first opportunity presented itself on Sunday 5th May 2024 when we had as our special guest the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue (FIR), Hon. Zacch Adedeji when upon a participant presenting a grandiose and impressive proposal on improving the administration’s revenue drive, he gave his personal number to that participant with a request to get in contact for further discussion on the proposal.

The second opportunity presented itself last Saturday 10th August 2024 when the Coordinating Minister for Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, CON invited 2 participants on the conference to meet with him in his office at Abuja to pitch the grand ideas they each proposed during the conference towards enhancing the Healthcare and Social Welfare reforms of this government.

One of the participants, Dr. Sylvia Okoro swiftly took advantage of the invitation (talk of striking the iron whilst it’s still hot) and visited the Honourable Minister earlier this week in his office in Abuja. To cap it all, due to the strength and quality of the proposal she brought to the table during the visit to the Honourable Minister, Dr. Okoro was appointed to the National Committee on Digital Health which she confessed is a significant milestone in her career. Talk of preparation meeting with opportunity indeed.

This is an attestation of the objectives of *The Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference* in our quest to *add value* to this administration by providing a platform for direct engagement with our leaders, all of whom has been generous with information regarding the inner workings of this government.

It also points to the fact that this administration is receptive to fresh ideas from Nigerians globally who has the zeal and programmes of action to add value and make meaningful impact to the vision of the administration for a prosperous Nigeria.
