Niger Delta Journalists Association mourns death of Chief Iwuanyanwu
The Executive and members of Niger Delta Journalists Association NDJA have mourned the death of the former Igbo leader, late Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu Ahaejiagamba Ndi Igbo whose sudden death was announced recently.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was a patriotic leader, philanthropist and a lover of his people. He was a nationalist and worked for the unity of Nigeria. A mentor to many Igbo youths and humble to the core. He respected humanity and did not humiliate anyone who came in contact with him. He gave scholarships and supports to many Igbo students and beyond.
Chief Iwuanyanwu will be remembered for his selfless and humanitarian service to God and humanity. Because of his love for God he never missed any opportunity to give to the work of God. No wonder he lived to the ripe age of 82. He was an unrepentant giver both to the poor and the rich. A patron to many reputable organization especially the ones I know and witnessed like Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ , South East Youths for Equity and Alliance SEYEA, Igbo Journalists Association IJA amongst others.
We the members of Niger Delta Journalists Association extend our warm condolences to every member of his large family, praying God to grant his soul an eternal rest in his blossom.
Signed
Comrade Pst Austin Okoro
President, Niger Delta Journalists Association NDJA
Hon Basil Ukwuegbu
