*CHIEF JERRY CHUKWUEKE ENDS HIS 2024 HUMANITARIAN GESTURES TO THE LESS PRIVILEGED IN OWERRI CATHOLIC PROVINCE.*
Grand finale at the pavilion of Maria Assumpta Cathedral
Having taken out time to be with the poor and the needy within Owerri Catholic Province through the Laity Council starting with the Ahiara diocese then Okigwe and collapsed with Orlu and Owerri diocese and Arch-diocese, the great mobilizer and philanthropist Chief Jerry Chukwueke Ohamadike has urged the faithful who gathered at the pavilion to continue to have faith and hope in our lord Jesus Christ.
Ohamadike who was moved to pity seeing the last batch of the 5,000 vulnerable Catholics he has fed during this yuletide promised to continue the gestures every year.
He posited that a more robust seriousness is needed from the people for the government of the day both at the State and at the federal level, that the pains of the ongoing reforms will only last for a short while but the gain will be an everlasting one.
The President Of the Laity Council Owerri Province, Hon. Placidus Onyedikachi Chijioke thanked Ohamadike for starting and finishing this project without the usual political gimmicks.
Leaders from Owerri Archdiocese and that of the Orlu diocese in their separate speeches expressed satisfaction with the organization of the program and tagged it as the most peaceful and well planned one.
The highlight of the event was the prayer section by the beneficiaries on the sponsor of the program, Chief Jerry Chukwueke.
