Christmas is a season of joy, giving, and togetherness. In the realm of politics, it presents a unique opportunity to strengthen bonds, foster unity, and promote a sense of community among party members and associates. This no doubt was the prime motivation of Chief Jerry Chukwueke to dole out rice and cash to his political friends and associates.
In his remarks, Chief Jerry Chukwueke Ohamadike said that Christmas is unique because God gave his only son to die for the sins of mankind that we may qualify for the gift of eternal life.
Speaking further, he said, though times are hard and very challenging, people should have confidence in the administration of President Tinubu because he is out to reset Nigeria's economy and enthrone fiscal federalism He further said that the administration's strategic economic adjustments are designed to place guardrails to checkmate the neferous activities of some big corporations and redeem Nigeria's economy from the strangle hold of big oil merchants.
Chief Jerry fondly called the great mobilizer by his political admirers expressed his faith and confidence in the sanctity of the Imo charter of equity because, according to him, The People's Governor has not said otherwise. Senator Hope Uzodinma, he said, remains the most outstanding governor not only in the history of Imo state but currently in Nigeria. He said that Owerri zone has benefited immensely from Uzodinma's administration, and that justified the overwhelming vote and support for him in the last elections.
Chief Chukwueke who is fresh from Yale University School of Management USA, said that "Uzodinma's exceptionalism" finds expression in the numerous awards and recognition by multilateral agencies and the various positions of trust given to him by the federal government. It's also made manifest in the rejoining the All Progressive Congress (APC) by high profile politicians, especially our elected representatives in the national assembly.
Those who were part of the Christmas get-together got 10kg of rice and a cash gift ranging from 15,000.00 to 20,000.00 naira each. They include non indigenous people in Owerri federal constituency, the PDP coalition, women Ambassadors for Hope, Groundgame for Hope, and members of Alaenyi political bloc
